Managing bookmarks, browsing history, and downloads in Edge on Windows 11

Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I just discovered that Microsoft has phased out collections in Microsoft Edge. I only discovered this when I had upgraded my iPhone to IOS 26, and the collections are no longer available in my Edge iOS app. I've done some searching, and there is supposed to be a way to export the collections (I have 16 collections with 200-300 saved links). According to Copilot, Microsoft has already eliminated this option, and it appears the only way to do this is a very laborious process of opening tabs for every single link and saving them to a new folder in Favorites. This is totally unreasonable! I've been using this feature for a long time, and I would have hoped that Microsoft would have notified me before phasing it out.
When did Microsoft make this change, and is it possible to roll back to an earlier version of Microsoft Edge to restore the export features that were removed so I can save my collections? If this was a recent update, I may be able to do a system restore to solve this issue.
Please advise.

Microsoft has indeed phased out the Collections feature in Microsoft Edge, and as a result, there is no direct method to export Collections to Favorites. Users have reported that the only way to save links from Collections now is to manually open each link and save them to a new folder in Favorites, which can be quite laborious.
Regarding the timing of this change, the specific date when Microsoft made this change is not mentioned in the provided context. Additionally, rolling back to an earlier version of Microsoft Edge to restore the export features is possible, but it would depend on whether you have a version snapshot available. Microsoft Edge creates snapshots during version upgrades, which can be used for rollback if needed. However, if no version-matched snapshot is available, you would need to rely on Sync to retrieve your data.
If you are experiencing issues with synchronization, you may want to consider resetting your sync settings as outlined in the context, but this will not restore the Collections feature itself.
