Managing personal Outlook.com account settings, security, and privacy
Hi,
Here is what you can try to log out of the Minecraft Launcher and Xbox app.
First, sign out from the Xbox app. Open the Xbox app, go to Settings, then Account, and click Sign out. This helps disconnect the Microsoft account connected to Xbox services.
Next, clear the Minecraft Launcher account cache. Close the launcher first. Then go to your user AppData Roaming minecraft folder. Look for the file named launcher_accounts.json and delete it. This file keeps the login details that causes the launcher to stick to the old account.
After that, restart the Minecraft Launcher. When it opens again, it should ask you to sign in. Use the Microsoft account you want to use now.
Also check the Microsoft Store and Xbox app sign in. Make sure both are logged in using the correct Microsoft account. If you see the wrong one, sign out and sign back in using the right account.
If it still does not work, you can reset the launcher. Go to Windows Settings, Apps, Minecraft Launcher, Advanced options, then click Reset. This clears saved data without removing the game.
Once these steps are done, you should be able to log in with your correct account.
I hope this helps!
