How to fix Input Conflict - MCHOSE Jet 75 - Alt + Space partially Blocked ?

I am experiencing a persistent and partial input block on my MCHOSE Jet 75. The keyboard fails to register the Space bar whenever the Left Alt key is held down.

  • Core Symptom: I have used Alt to crouch for years. In Apex Legends and Battlefield 2042 (BF6), I cannot jump (Space) while crouching (Alt).
  • Key Discovery: If I remap the "Jump" function to any other key, it works perfectly. The problem is specifically the Alt + Space combination.
  • Hardware Verification: I tested the board via the Microsoft Anti-Ghosting Demo. The hardware is electrically functional (no ghosting), but the signal is blocked at the software/firmware level.
  • Setup: Running at 2K Polling Rate with an MCHOSE L7 Ultra mouse. Using Windows Game Mode: ON. No NVIDIA App or Overlay is installed.

Troubleshooting Already Performed:

  1. Device Management: Uninstalled all "HID Keyboard Device" entries in Device Manager and performed multiple power cycles (unplug/replug).
  2. Firmware: Factory reset performed. Tested both latest and downgraded MCHOSE HUB versions.
  3. Physical: Verified the softare toggle is set to "Win" (not Mac).
  4. Language: System uses English/French layouts with custom Ctrl+0 / Ctrl+9 switching.
  5. Connectivity: Tested on both USB 3.0 (Blue) and USB 2.0 (Black) ports.
  6. Disable the "Power Management" on HID Devices

Since the keyboard passes ghosting tests but the Alt + Space combination is blocked during gameplay, this appears to be a conflict somewhere. Can you please provide a solution or a specific configuration for the MCHOSE HUB to resolve this signal priority issue?

Thanks in advance

    Hi bouchidor,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum. I'm happy to help.

Please make sure that the keyboard is not programed with combination ALT + Space, you may check its documentation to see if the keyboard is programed in factory.

You may also do additional test the combination ALT + Space with File Explorer or Microsoft Edge, if the window shows window menu, then the combination works as expected.

I hope that above information is helpful to you.
