I Have a 2 Disc Microsoft Picture It Digital Image Pro--Please Help I Want To Install It

I have a Windows 11 64 bit Dell computer. I want to download all of the details of the Microsoft Picture It Digital Image Pro onto my computer. I've enjoyed this ever since I had my first computer when I was 43 years old and had an HP Pavilion and downloaded on my computer.

All I want is to use this again, it's the best there is and I've had nothing but trouble, my computer won't let me download it, I've got more than enough space. I've tried using the compatibility mode from top to bottom, that doesn't work. There has to be a work around so I can use it.

Can someone please help me with this dilemma? Thank you for your kind response.

To install Microsoft Digital Image Pro (versions 7 and 10 tested) on 64 bit Windows:

    Start the installer normally.

When you see this message click OK:User's image

When you see this message do NOT click OK:User's image

Leave everything alone and sign out of Windows (right-click Windows icon > Shut down or sign out > Sign out). Do not restart. Do not shutdown.

You will then see a screen that shows that the installer is preventing sign out. That's good. Wait a few seconds and then click the Cancel button that is on that screen.

That will take you back to the desktop.

Now you can click OK on that second dialog.

The install will continue. Let it finish. It may pause for a bit, but just be patient. It should finish up correctly.

Alternative solution: Start the installation and open task manager. Watch for msiexec processes that have your user name (i.e. NOT System). There will initially be one, then two, and then three when the IE install runs. Kill the third one and the install will proceed and complete successfully.

I mean, were you able to download ISO images of two CDs?

    Hello, Deborah DAmbrosi.

Unfortunately, you can download this program only from the so-called Internet archive*:
