Hi,
We are an encounted error "Please install 'Update for Universal C Runtime in Windows' (KP2999226) when installing Defender for the endpoint in server 2016, but as I research there is no Universal C Runtime for 2016 servers it only up to 2012 R2 (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/update-for-universal-c-runtime-in-windows-322bf30f-4735-bb94-3949-49f5c49f4732). So I tried installing C++ 2015 and other versions, but the issue still appears. I have installed all Security Windows updates up to Feb 2023. I would appreciate it if there is a workable solution.

Hi Givary-MSFT thank you for the comment I could install install Microsoft Defender for Endpoint setup using install.ps1 (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/security/defender-endpoint/configure-server-endpoints?view=o365-worldwide#:~:text=An%20operating%20system,installation%20if%20necessary.) which mentioned in the article that you mentioned.
