Hello everyone,

I have a pair of Galaxy Buds Pro 3 that I have connected to my pc via bluetooth. I paired them successfully with my pc, but the sound just will not come through. Every once in a while, I get a snippet of sound, but it is very inconsistent. I tested the earbuds with my phone and it works flawlessly. I checked to make sure that the Galaxy buds were set as the default output device and it was. I also disabled all other output devices to see if that was it, but still nothing. I made sure my blue tooth driver was updated and that my earbuds driver were updated, they all were. I also made sure that sound was going to my default output device in the volume mixer setting. I have no idea what else to try. I also tested a headset on my pc to make sure that it was not my pc and it worked fine. If you can help, it would be much appreciated!

Thank you for the confirmation. Since your other Bluetooth headsets work properly, Windows is handling the Galaxy Buds Pro 3 profiles. Windows will often default to the Hands-Free AG Audio profile. It needs to switch to Stereo.

Please open Settings, go to System, then Sound, and click “More sound settings” on the right.

In the Playback tab, select Galaxy Buds Pro 3 Stereo and click Set Default.

Next, highlight Galaxy Buds Pro 3 Hands-Free AG Audio, click Properties, change Device usage to “Disable this device,” then Apply and OK.

Please let me know how it goes.

Hello there! I am Charity. I'm glad to help you today!

You mentioned your Bluetooth drivers were updated. Have you updated the Bluetooth drivers from your official manufacturer (Your motherboard?) If not, do you know the make and model of your laptop/desktop's motherboard?

Press Windows + R, type msinfo32, and hit Enter.

In the System Summary section, please provide me the three things below.

    BaseBoard Manufacturer

    BaseBoard Product

    BaseBoard Version

And if it's a desktop PC, and using your built-in Bluetooth card, it's very possible that the signal is not stable enough for Bluetooth audio, or your Bluetooth version is older. Also, since you mention it does connect, does it have an option to change to "Stereo" or "Hands-Free" in your Volume mixer?

    Kind Regards,

    Charity

Please note that things might need more than one reply to completely resolve your issue, as it will completely depend on the complexity of the question and the amount of detail that you have provided me.
