Which printer/scanner will work with the latest surface Pro. To be specific, i want to use the full functionality of the scanner and not use the simple Ms Scan app.

@Hille-Paul Schut

14 years ago I bought a program called Vuescan, I got the Pro version (lifetime license). 1 DAY ago I bought an Epson ET-3930 which of course had no ARM drivers, downloaded the latest ARM version of Vuescan https://www.hamrick.com/alternate-versions.html which is way better than the Epson INTEL software for scanning. (and the ET-3930 isn't listed in their database yet). They have a FREE trial version (you'll get a watermark using the trial version).

This third party app beats anything I've used to scan and restore yellow, faded print material. And it works great on my Snapdragon based 12" Surface Pro

    For best results on Windows, look for models with full Windows drivers and apps supported by the manufacturer (rather than relying on generic drivers alone).
