How to create a group to make a team

How do I create a group so I can make a team? I really don’t know how to do it so advice would be appreciated. I’m not on the app though I’m on the https://teams.microsoft.com/v2/ website

    Hi! Let me help you with this question.

    If you need to create a Team in Microsoft Teams, click the 3 dots on the right side of CHAT, then click Your Teams and Channels, and finally click Create Team on the far right.

    If you don’t see “Create team.”

    A couple of quick things to check:

    Your organization may restrict team creation (common in work/school accounts).

    Try refreshing the page or signing out/in again.

    Make sure you’re clicking Join or create a team, not just “Join”.
