Windows 10: Your device is missing important security and quality fixes issue after a fresh reinstall. Enrolled in the free ESU program few months ago when it first became available.
I have enrolled my device using my outlook mail account for the free ESU program few months ago and earlier today I have clean installed Windows 10 in the same device I have enrolled the ESU and using the same outlook mail account.
However, I noticed that my device is not updating properly and the "Your device is missing important security and quality fixes." would not go away. I am unable to update Microsoft Store and get the Onedrive app on the Windows PC to log in.
I have restarted my device multiple times and even tried the clean installation again however the problem still persist.
How to resolve this issue asap ? Please advise.
Thank you.

2026-02-07T16:38:43.53+00:00 Hi Augustine,
Please run
winver.exeand post a screenshot of that dialog. It shows the OS edition, version and the build number.unable to update Microsoft Store and get the Onedrive app on the Windows PC to log in.
Are you getting the error 0x80244022 in Microsoft Store? Of late, many users are facing the error 0x80244022 in Microsoft Store and Windows Update. Chances are it's affecting your OneDrive sign-in as well.
This is most likely a server-side issue, as I have been tracking many threads in the Microsoft Learn Q&A forum. I'd suggest waiting for an official fix. Meanwhile, you may report or upvote the issue by opening the Feedback Hub (Win + F).
Meanwhile, please post the Winver screenshot.
