First, if possible, please attach images of the Word file issues you are facing, including: how it looks on the web, how it looks when downloaded to the original computer, and how the formatting changes when downloaded to a different computer.
If you can, please copy that file and send it to me via private message so I can see how it displays on my end.

What file format are the documents you are opening? Have you tried exporting them to PDF to compare the results?
