I keep getting pop ups in the lower right of screen. They are made to look like McAfee alerts and are from geniusfun.co.za I have tried actions listed about going to settings, systems, etc and changing the notification settings but still have not been able to stop the pop ups.

I found out that there was a Wave browser that got installed. I eliminated it and it looks like that took care of the problem. Thanks for the recommendations, which I know work, but I did not realize that the wave browser was what needed to be addressed.

Click the three dots in the top right corner of the browser and select Settings.

In the search box on the left side of the Settings page, type "notifications".

Under the "Site permissions" section, click on Notifications.

Look at the list under the Allow section.

Click the three dots next to that website and select Remove or Block.

Those notifications are generated by your web browser, and it is in the browser settings you need to remove any website that can produce those annoying notifications, what web browser do you use?

    If that is Edge.

Open Edge, then click the 3 dots at the top right and select Settings.

In the search box in Edge Settings, type notifications.

On the right, open 'Notifications (Ask First)', then in the resulting list, remove all websites you do not recognise.
