Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help!

Are you using a Desktop or a Laptop? Was it working fine before? If yes, I recommend following the steps provided by Q&A Assist. However, if the issue persists, kindly follow the steps below:

    Roll back the network driver.

-Press the Windows key + X

    -Go to Device Manager

    -Expand the Network Adapters

    -Look for your Wi-Fi driver

    -Right-click and click Update Driver

-Select Browse my computer for drivers

-Click Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer

-Choose an old driver or another driver name, then select it and hit next until it installs.

    -Restart the PC and check.

Note: If the issue persists, please download and install a LAN and Wi-Fi driver from your manufacturer's website, and or update the BIOS with the help of the PC manufacturer.

Open the admin Command Prompt, try these two commands:

    net localgroup Administrators /add networkservice

    net localgroup Administrators /add localservice

If your computer is stuck in airplane mode and not showing WiFi options, and you are receiving a message that the diagnostic policy service is not running, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check the Diagnostic Policy Service: Ensure that the Diagnostic Policy Service is running. You can do this by:
      • Pressing Windows + R to open the Run dialog.
      • Typing services.msc and pressing Enter.
      • In the Services window, locate Diagnostic Policy Service. Right-click it and select Start if it is not running.
    2. Restart Your Computer: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve issues with services not starting correctly.
    3. Network Troubleshooter: Run the built-in network troubleshooter to diagnose and fix network issues:
      • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Network Adapter and run the troubleshooter.
    4. Check Airplane Mode: Make sure Airplane mode is turned off. You can toggle it from the Action Center (click on the notification icon in the taskbar).
    5. Update Network Drivers: Ensure your network drivers are up to date. You can do this through Device Manager:
      • Right-click on the Start button and select Device Manager.
      • Expand the Network adapters section, right-click on your WiFi adapter, and select Update driver.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, further troubleshooting may be required, such as checking for Windows updates or resetting network settings.
