    Yes, that is correct.

Each family member’s storage is separate.

It cannot be shared or merged into one account.

So even if others are not using their 1TB, you still cannot use it.

    You have a few options:

    1. Upgrade to Microsoft 365 Personal with more storage, or buy extra OneDrive storage. https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/onedrive/additional-file-storage
    2. Move some large files to an external drive or another cloud service.
    3. Check what is using the most space and clean it up. To learn how to reduce your storage please see "How to clear your Microsoft cloud storage" section here: https://support.microsoft.com/office/what-is-microsoft-cloud-storage-2a261b34-421c-4a47-9901-74ef5bd0c426

I really hope this information is helpful! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

To help narrow down the issue:

    1. Is your 1TB already full?
    2. What is using most of your storage? (OneDrive, Outlook, backups, etc.)

With Microsoft 365 Family, each person gets their own 1TB.

The storage cannot be combined or transferred to one account.

So no, one user cannot use the storage of other family members.

    Each account stays separate.

In a home Microsoft 365 program, each user typically has a storage limit of 1 TB in OneDrive. This limit is per user, meaning that if you are using a shared family plan, each family member can utilize their own 1 TB of storage separately. Therefore, you cannot use more than 1 TB of storage allocated to your account instead of other family members' storage. Each user’s storage is independent, and the total storage available is pooled across all users in the subscription.
