Hello, I'm Quinn and here to help!
May I know your system specs (CPU, RAM, and GPU)? Low FPS is often caused by hardware limitations or the game using the wrong graphics processor. I’ve experienced this before when my device was using the integrated GPU instead of the dedicated one. If your computer has two GPUs, make sure Minecraft Education is set to use the high-performance GPU:
- Open Settings
- Go to System > Display > Graphics
- Click Browse and select Minecraft Education
- Click it, and select your stronger GPU
You can also try:
- Updating your graphics drivers
- Lowering render distance and graphics settings in-game
- Closing background apps
- Making sure Windows and Minecraft Education are fully updated
