    Hello

Let's say you want to insert a column to the right of column B, you now have to select column C, then right click > Insert, and it will insert to the left of Column C, but to the right of B.

The specific inserting left or right seems to be removed with the latest version.

This does not address my question. Isn't there a way to add an additional column to the right?

To add a column to the right in an Excel worksheet on Windows:

    1. Select the entire column that is immediately to the right of where the new column should appear.
    2. Right-click the selected column header.
    3. Click Insert Columns.

This inserts a new blank column to the left of the selected column, which effectively adds a column to the right of the original data range.

If working inside an Excel table (not just a normal range), another option is:

    1. Click any cell in the column immediately to the right of where the new table column should appear.
    2. Right-click and choose InsertTable Columns to the Left.

Alternatively, start typing in the first empty cell directly to the right of the last table column; the table will automatically expand to include a new column.
