As the title says, I tried to activate azure for student, through my university account. I am living in Indonesia, so I used my own phone number from said country. Attempted few times, but still it says "we're unable to validate your phone number". I even switched the browser from firefox to edge, but there wasn't any changes.

Better to contact IT administrator to reset your MFA from azure active directory

there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

Double-check your phone number: Ensure that you have entered your phone number correctly, including the country code. Make sure there are no typos or missing digits.

Verify your country code: Confirm that you have selected the correct country code for Indonesia (+62) when entering your phone number.

Check your network connection: Ensure that you have a stable internet connection. Sometimes network connectivity issues can prevent the verification process from completing successfully.

Clear browser cache and cookies: Clear your browser cache and cookies to eliminate any potential conflicts or outdated information that may be affecting the verification process.

Use a different browser or device: If you've been using a specific browser, try using a different one or switch to a different device to see if the issue persists. This can help identify if the problem is specific to a particular browser or device.

Contact Azure support: If you have tried the above steps and are still unable to validate your phone number, it's recommended to reach out to Azure support for further assistance. They can help troubleshoot the issue and provide guidance based on your specific situation.
