I am using a macbookair with OS 15.6.1, and Word for Mac 16.106. The Grammarly Add-in within Word for Mac is no longer functional and I want to remove all the Grammarly icons from Word. There is a green Grammarly icon in the Home menu, and there is a Grammarly tab in the main menu.
Can't figure out how to remove those. Any ideas?
(PS, I have downloaded Grammarly for Mac, and now use that with Word, but the Grammarly window is separate from the Word window)

I couldn't find a "Add-ins tool" on the home tab (or any other). I uninstalled the existing Grammerly app, installed the newest one from Grammerly site, and then in Word, went to Settings>Ribbon and Toolbar, and removed the Grammerly icon there. That's how I finally got the Icon to go away.
Those icons come from the old Grammarly add-in that was installed inside Word. To remove them completely, the Grammarly add-in must be removed/disabled from Word or by fully uninstalling and reinstalling Office if the add-in cannot be removed normally.
Because the provided material only covers general Word for Mac help, uninstalling Office, and fixing issues, the only supported, documented way here to guarantee removal of all add‑in UI is:
After a clean reinstall, Word will no longer contain the legacy Grammarly add-in, so the green Grammarly icon on the Home tab and the Grammarly tab in the Ribbon will be gone. Grammarly for Mac (the separate app) can still be used alongside Word, as it is independent of the in‑Word add-in.
If further Word for Mac configuration help is needed (for example, customizing the Quick Access Toolbar or other UI elements), use Help on the Word menu bar and search for the relevant feature, or consult the Word for Mac help resources referenced below.
