Is that link being generated by Gemini AI in a web browser?

If so, that error usually indicates Gemini is failing to convert the internal Python path into a downloadable blob.

The best option, if you are using Gemini AI is to post a question to the Google forum, that error is not caused by any problem with your web browser, it is specific to Google Gemini.

The text sandbox:/mnt/data/Apex_Final_Editable_Presentation.pptx is just a file path, not a downloadable web link. To get a usable copy of the presentation, download it from the app or service where it is stored (for example, PowerPoint for the web or OneDrive) and save it to the local computer.

If the presentation is in PowerPoint for the web:

    1. Open the presentation in PowerPoint for the web.
    2. Select File.
    3. Do one of the following:
      • To save a PowerPoint copy to the computer: select Download As > Download a Copy, then select Download in the dialog. The file is saved to the Downloads folder. Open it from the browser’s download UI or from the Downloads folder.
      • Or select Create a copy > Download a copy to save a copy to the device.

If using keyboard shortcuts in PowerPoint for the web:

    1. Press Alt+Windows logo key, F, A, C to download a copy of the presentation.
    2. Press Enter when focus is on Download. The file is saved to the Downloads folder.

Once downloaded, open the .pptx file from the Downloads folder in PowerPoint on Windows.
