Try these steps in order on Windows 11 when clicking Install in Microsoft Store does nothing:

    1. Restart the PC if Windows was recently updated
      • If Windows Update has just installed updates, a restart is required before apps (including Minecraft) can install from Microsoft Store.
    2. Reset the Microsoft Store app
      1. Press Windows key + R to open Run.
      2. Type wsreset.exe and select OK.
      3. A blank Command Prompt will open for a few seconds, then close, and Microsoft Store will reopen automatically.
      4. Go back to the Minecraft page in Store and try Install again.
    3. Check common reasons why Install may not appear or work
      • The app may not be available in the current country/region.
      • Family Safety settings may be blocking the app for a child account.
      • The app may no longer be available in Store or may only be downloadable from the publisher’s site.
      • The device may be incompatible (Store hides or blocks the purchase/install button on incompatible devices).
      • The PC may not be authorized for the Microsoft account being used. Make sure the same Microsoft account used to buy Minecraft is signed in, and that the device is added to that account.
    4. Try installing from Library / Order history
      • In Microsoft Store, open My Library and look for Minecraft. If a Download icon appears, select it to install.
      • Or go to Order history with the same Microsoft account used to purchase Minecraft, select the product, then choose Install or Product key/Install if available.

If none of these steps change the behavior (Install still does nothing), check for Windows updates again, restart once more, and then retry the Store install.
