Hello
There could be several reasons why your laptop is feeling slow despite having 12GB of RAM. One possible reason could be that your hard drive is slow or fragmented, which can cause delays in loading programs and files. Another reason could be that there are too many programs running in the background, which can consume system resources and slow down your computer. Additionally, it's possible that your laptop's processor is not powerful enough to handle certain tasks, especially if you are running resource-intensive applications. I would recommend running a disk cleanup and defragmentation, closing any unnecessary programs running in the background, and checking your processor usage to see if it's being maxed out. If the issue persists, you may want to consider upgrading your hardware or seeking further assistance from a technical support professional.
