Once again, I am asking for how to remove the "Copilot Discover (Preview) from my homepage

I have sent numerous feedback requests and tried previously on the Forums to get help in removing the "Copilot Discover (Preview)" icon from my homepage in the upper right-hand corner where my weather normally appears. I turned "off" the Copilot preview in settings. When I do this, the "newsfeed," which I do not want to see, appears. When I turn off the "newsfeed," the Copilot reappears. This is extremely frustrating. I sent screen shots with feedback to Microsoft with comments numerous times (no response of course, though I clicked they can contact me). My guess is that "AI" reads the feedback and does not want to turn itself off and Microsoft is pressuring users to agree to their "Copilot." Not interested. Does anyone out there, especially you Microsoft experts, know if this irritating icon can be removed and how I can restore my "weather" without having to see the newsfeed? This maddening.

I did some research about this and...

Currently we Users cannot be rid of this Copilot Discover (Preview) toggle on the NTP. That may change, again, but currently it's server-side experiments. Remember, the same WAS on the Widgets Board for a while but is not there anymore.

The only reason I don't have on some NTPs is because they are 'old'... as soon as I Refresh one of them OR open a new one, there it is. Maybe it will, also, be gone from our NTPs sometime soon 🤞

Can be rid of it, but as soon as Show content is shut off, it returns* Can shut it off via the gear but then it returns if & when Show content is shut off.

Supposed to be able to just toggle it off, end of story. Supposed to be optional. It is only staying GONE, if the Content is left showing. Should stay like this with NO content showing. Some NTPs do this, but on some, it won't.

As time has passed the 'experiment' on the Widgets Board has changed to the point that there is, now, like this

And as for NTPs, there is, now, variations. One has the Copilot Discover (Preview) toggle another does not. On one can be shut on or off, optional... another, can be rid of it, but as soon as Show content is shut off, it returns*.
And these are both the same Edge acc't Profile... a mystery, indeed. One it's not there, *the other insists on returning

You haven't described what your home page looks like or provided the URL.

For what it's worth, this is what my Microsoft Edge new tab page looks like:

I was able to do this with Microsoft Edge's own controls. The Copilot Discover (Preview) which I enclosed in a green box can't be removed, but as you can see I have it turned off, so I never see it and it doesn't do anything on my computer.

    Hi Steven,

Could you please share an exact screenshot where it shows up, to help you out?

I’m eager to hear back and work together to find a solution.
