Windows 11, 64 bit. Network is on Xfinity. Network is working fine with all the other

devices on it, and worked with our prior HP Printer. Cannot connect via system/ devices / printers and scanners, and cannot finish a HP Smart install. Even downloaded HP easy setup software, ran it, and printer is invisible to that, as well. Exhausted HP Smart AI assistant, and an xfinity rep on remote access. Tried many things. Baffled what is wrong.

    Hi,

In this case, you'll need to reset the HP printer settings as follows:

First, turn the printer on and press the Wi-Fi and red X buttons for 5 seconds, until they start flashing.

You'll do the following in two ways: using HP Smart on your phone or via installation apps.

If using a smartphone, first remove the printer from your PC. Go to Start > Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers > select the printer and Remove devices.

After removing it, open HP Smart on your smartphone and click Add Printer. Remember, the Wi-Fi must be flashing; it will search for the printer and ask you to activate it.

After adding your printer to the network, you can add it to Windows.

Now, using a PC, it's recommended that you download the offline installation software:

    https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/ST7600/HPEasyStart-16.2.4-ST7600_55_3_5043_Webpack.exe

Put the printer in configuration mode by pressing the Wi-Fi + X (Cancel) buttons on the printer. Wait for the Wi-Fi icon to start flashing.

Then, remove the printer from Windows by accessing the Start menu > Settings > Bluetooth and Devices > Printers > select the printer and Remove devices.

Next, run the driver download; it will instruct you on how to locate and add the printer to the network.
