I am encountering an issue with the Aptos default font in Word. As I type, the content I've already typed on a page is randomly changing to other fonts and font sizes visually on the screen, so it looks like I've typed with 3 or 4 different fonts despite all being Aptos and the same size. I'm doing no formatting, strictly typing in a blank document. Something as simple as highlighting text can cause it to change again. I tried talking with tech support but when they are on your computer viewing remotely the text looks completely different than when they are not online, so I can't share what I am seeing with them. I just want the font to stay the same.

That sounds like it may be a display driver problem. Would it be possible to post a couple of screen shots so we can get a better idea of what you're seeing?
Here are 3 screen shots, same file. Sometimes it is all small text, sometimes all large text, or a mix of several sizes.

Please try the following key combinations:
Press Ctrl + A to select the text of the main document layer.
Press Ctrl + Space to remove any local text formatting.

No, that didn't fix it. I've already tried deleting the normal.dotm file several times just in case it was corrupted, but that didn't fix it either. I've repaired office, restarted my computer, and exhausted all of CoPilot's suggestions for troubleshooting which took about 4 hours. It doesn't happen in Draft view but it does in Print Layout view. It doesn't happen with older fonts like Times New Roman or Calibri. Aptos is not installed in my fonts folder, so I don't know where Word is pulling the font from if there is a local copy or it is just cloud based. Moving the mouse is enough to cause the text to change. I've tried disabling any plugins, and turning off all the autoformat features to no effect.
