I select some photos to print, right click, click on "show more options".... and the "print" option has gone it is not there any more.

How do I print photos from windows explorer now? I need to print pictures, with the option of how many I want to print per page.

Please return the lost functionality removed by this latest update.

    Hi Michael,

I can confirm that the Print context menu option hasn't been removed in the latest update (26200.8037). Let's check the file association settings to see if that's causing the problem.

If you're trying to print JPG or PNG files, please open Command Prompt and run these commands:

    reg query HKCR\.JPG

    reg query HKCR\.PNG

    reg query HKCR\SystemFileAssociations\image\shell\print /s

Copy the output to a text file and upload it in your next reply.

The context only documents how the legacy Photo/Print Pictures/Photo Printing Wizard features work and known issues or hotfixes for older Windows versions (XP, Vista, 7, 8.1). It does not contain any information about restoring or re‑enabling the right‑click Print option in Windows 11 File Explorer after an update, nor any supported workaround specific to Windows 11.

Because of that, no supported steps can be provided from the available material to return the missing Print entry in the Windows 11 Explorer context menu or to replicate its multi‑photo, multi‑per‑page behavior.
