I have multiple word documents open on a Macbook Air. How do I switch between those documents? Command + Tab which is the equivalent of Control + Tab on a PC switches between apps.

On a Mac use Command+` [ Grave Accent, often erroneously referred to as Command+~] to switch between open windows of the same program.

Also, explore the Window menu in the Word menu bar.

You can find much more re window management by going to Help> Mac User Guide in Finder's menu bar.
