how can I activate my Microsoft streets and trips with a retail product code?

Streets & Trips uses a standard 25‑character product key format. A 19‑character retail code cannot be used in the in‑product activation dialog, so activation with that code is not possible.

Support for Streets & Trips ended in 2015. The product can still be activated, but only with a valid 25‑character key entered in the activation window (online or via the automated phone system). If only a 19‑character retail code is available, it is not a valid Streets & Trips product key and cannot be converted or used to activate the software.

The only way to activate is to locate the original 25‑character key that came with the Streets & Trips 2013 media or packaging. Without that, activation cannot be completed.
