Hi

My system hard disk is full and I need to clean it and delete some files from it.

I thought to delete the Microsoft update folder which suppose to have a lot of unused data but I can't find it.

  1. Where it is located?
  2. Is it safe to delete it?
  3. Any other idea what can I delete? I already made a cleanup, and delete unnecessary Apps...

Thanks a lot
Roie

    Hello Roie Sofer

    1. The Microsoft update folder is located in the Windows folder. The exact location may vary depending on the version of Windows you are using, but it is typically found in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution.
    2. It is generally safe to delete the contents of this folder, as it mainly contains temporary files and data related to Windows updates. However, it is recommended to use the built-in Disk Cleanup tool to remove unnecessary files, as it can safely identify and remove files that are no longer needed.
    3. In addition to using Disk Cleanup, you can also consider uninstalling unused programs, and moving large files to an external hard drive or cloud storage. Best regards,
