Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
the BIOS reboot failed.
I have followed all the options e.g turning on and off - pressing F2, F8. I can get to the ideapad start menu and my boot tabs include UEFI and enabled.
I have downloaded onto a USB drive the recommended reboot files or same.
There are no options to change details outside of the start menu; enter command prompts or same.
Outside of the start menu - I go round in circles from 3 options:
1 Setup Notice: default boot device missing or boot failed. Insert recovery Media and hit any key. Then select Boot Manager to choose a new boot device or to boot recovery media. would you like to continue. OK
Plugged in USB drive before pressing OK.
2 Windows Boot Manager (WDC PC etc......)
clicked on this option (only option)
3 Set up notice: windows boot manager has been blocked by the current security policy. would you like to continue? OK
clicked ok
It goes back to screen 2.
