title describes it well. its driving me up the wall. i've searched litterally everywhere and nothing has been able to help. i've tried finding updates for the driver and it keeps saying every time that the driver doesnt have any updates, and i know its an issue with the touch screen because it stops doing that when i disable the driver. i cant even try to close my computer without it immediately trying to close every single app i have open

    Hi there,

    Thank you for posting this.

I understand that this issue is troublesome for you. What you’re describing matches a well‑documented Windows “ghost touch” issue where the HID‑compliant touch screen driver sends constant false taps, which is why disabling it stops the problem, and the recommended fixes are to first fully uninstall and let Windows automatically reinstall the HID touch driver via Device Manager, then recalibrate the screen using Tablet PC Settings, disable touch power‑saving, and check for Windows updates or hardware failure if the issue continues.
