Hi, I'm Anish. I am looking for assistance in returning my primary device to a stable build of Windows 11 without performing a clean installation, as I need to preserve all my installed applications and personal files.

I recently joined the Windows Insider Program to explore new settings but opted out shortly after. I attempted to use the "Fix problems using Windows Update" (reinstall) option in Recovery, but I remain stuck on the Insider build.

Device & OS Specifications:

Laptop: HP Notebook 15s-du1064tu

Edition: Windows 11 Pro

Version: 25H2

OS Build: 26200.8117

Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.297.0

Installation Date: April 7, 2026

The Issue: Since my current build (26200.8117) is higher than the current public stable release, the standard "Go Back" option is no longer available, and the "Unenroll this device when the next version of Windows releases" toggle doesn't provide an immediate solution.

I need something that just Sends me back to a stable release without losing any data
Thank You For your help!

I was on the Windows Insider program on this PC and I selected the option last week to revert to the standard public version at the next opportunity. Now I am running 26200.8117 and it's a public version. I am showing as no longer being in the Insider Program.
