Can we clear search history in outlook webmail? looks like this step doesn't work

Steps to Clear Search History:

Sign in to your Outlook webmail account.
Click the Settings gear icon in the top-right corner.
Select General from the left menu.
Choose Privacy and data.
Under the "Search history" section, click the Delete history button.
Click Continue in the confirmation box to permanently remove your searches.

Just tried it on my Windows 11 (bothW11 and Outlook up to date) and online Outlook, and it works so can you tell which Windows you are using and the Outlook build please?

I'm using Windows 11 Enterprise 24H2 OS build 26100.8037
I have tried on both Google chrome and MS edge
but I still got this:

Hi,

Sorry but Microsoft removed the ability to remove the search results as they are stored on MS servers on Enterprise Outlook, even admin can't remove them, my MSA Outlook did remove them hence why I checked which version you are using.

Why they removed that option only MS can answer. 😒

EDIT: after testing your issue on my MSA outlook it doesn't remove items from the search box either, at first, I was checking by using the export button then the delete button and then the export for a second time which was empty, but this didn't change on the search box in Outlook.
