To change Outlook.com or Outlook on the web back to English, adjust the language setting for your mailbox.

    1. Sign in to your Outlook.com or Outlook on the web account.
    2. Open Settings (gear icon at the top of the page).
    3. Select General > Language and time.
    4. In the Language (Country/Region) field, choose English (for example, English (United States) or another English variant you prefer).
    5. Select Save.

If Outlook.com pages (or other Microsoft pages) still appear in the wrong language after this, also check:

    • Microsoft account language: Go to your Microsoft account profile language settings and set English as the display language.
    • Browser language: In your browser settings, ensure English is at the top of the preferred languages list.

Using the same language and region across Windows, browser, Microsoft account, and Outlook.com helps keep everything consistently in English.
