Hi all,

Since two weeks I'm no longer able to read my emails on hotmail.com

According to the message, my mailbox is blocked, but I don't know why.

Is there any support team who can solve this issue or someone to contact online ?

Thanks for replying !

Cédric.

The mailbox is most likely temporarily blocked due to unusual sign-in activity or a related account issue.

    To regain access:

    1. Use the Sign-in Helper to unblock the account
      • Go to the Sign-in Helper: Sign-in Helper.
      • Sign in with the Hotmail/Outlook.com address and follow the prompts to verify identity (security code, password change, etc.).
    2. If the account still cannot be unblocked
      • Follow the guidance in When you can't sign in to your Microsoft account linked from the unblock article. This helps with:
        • Resetting the password.
        • What to do if password reset does not work.
        • How to contact support from there.
    3. Check if storage is blocking mail access
      • If Outlook.com mailbox or OneDrive storage is full, sending/receiving mail is blocked.
      • Check mailbox storage and clean up if needed as described under “changes to Microsoft 365 email features and storage” in the unblock article.
    4. If sign-in itself fails
      • Use the Microsoft account sign-in helper mentioned in the “Can’t send or receive email in Outlook.com” article to resolve sign-in issues before unblocking.
    5. If support is needed after sign-in works
      • Once signed in, open Outlook.com, select Help on the top menu, search for the issue, then scroll to Still need help? and select Yes to contact Outlook.com support by email.

If none of the above works and the account remains blocked after multiple attempts and waiting out any lockout periods, the automated recovery and unblock flows are the only supported paths; direct agents cannot manually override consumer Outlook.com account blocks.
