    Dear @Vamsi Krishna Sarvepalli,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your description, you signed up for a trial subscription of the Business Basic plan, but no license is assigned to your admin account, even though you are a Global Administrator.

In this situation, to verify how to assign license correctly, you can refer to the AI answer steps above. If you get stuck at any step, please feel free to reach out to me so I can provide further support.

In the meantime, it would be helpful if you could share a screenshot showing where the license has not yet been assigned.

    Looking forward to your update.

For a new 30‑day Microsoft 365 Business Basic trial, licenses might not appear or be assigned immediately due to either provisioning delay or because no license has been assigned to the user account yet.

    Perform these checks and steps:

    1. Sign out and sign back in
After first sign‑up there can be a short delay while the environment is set up. Sign out of the admin portal and sign back in, then recheck the licenses.
    2. Verify that the admin account has a license
      1. Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center: http://admin.microsoft.com and sign in with the work or school account used for the trial.
      2. From the browser header, select Settings > My app settings > Office 365.
      3. On My account, select Subscriptions.
        • Confirm that the Business Basic trial ("The latest desktop version of Office" will not appear for Business Basic, but the online services should) is listed.
        • If no services are listed, the license has not been assigned to the user.
    3. Assign a license to the user (if you are the admin)
If the subscription exists but no licenses are assigned to the admin account:
      1. In the admin center, go to Billing > Licenses.
      2. Select the Business Basic product.
      3. Choose Assign licenses.
      4. Type and select the user (admin) account.
      5. Optionally use Turn apps and services on or off to control access, then select Assign.
After assignment, return to Settings > My app settings > Office 365 > Subscriptions to confirm the license now appears.

If, after waiting a short time and re‑signing in, the Business Basic trial still does not show under Billing > Licenses or Subscriptions, contact Microsoft 365 support from the admin center or via the regional support channel for further investigation of the trial provisioning.
