I was just forced to Windows 11 because I bought a new computer. On Windows 10 you could right click the taskbar and then go directly to the desktop. That can't be done on Windows 11. How can it be set up?

Right click on taskbar on Windows 10 gives you the context menu only.

You need to click on Show desktop button on taskbar, located at far right from clock. This will take you to Desktop instantaneously.

It works on both Windows 10 and Windows 11, as well.

You can view Your desktop by clicking the bottom right corner on the right of the Date and Time or by pressing the Windows and D keys at the same time on your keyboard. This setting can be configured by right-clicking the taskbar and selecting "Taskbar Settings" to access settings with the "Personalization > Taskbar" panel on the right. At the bottom of the Taskbar pane under "Taskbar behaviors" Users can configured desired settings including the ability to "Select the far corner of the Taskbar to show the desktop." This panel will allow Users to configure basic Taskbar preferences.
