Hello,
The issue usually comes from a change that is detected as Exploit vulnerability by some engines. In the case that MalwareBytes is not installed, but still recommended to doublecheck in case it was installed at some point, or other Antivirus/Antimalware that could be detecting the fake exploit case. Otherwise, the main workaround until the issue is fixed in a later update, is to set Chrome as Default browser, then reboot.
Steps:
On your computer, click the Start menu .
Click Settings Settings and then Apps and then Default Apps.
Under "Set defaults for applications," enter Chrome into the search box and then click Google Chrome.
At the top, next to "Make Google Chrome your default browser," click Set default.
To make sure the change applied to the correct file types, review the list below the "Set default" button.
Other option pointed by some community users would be to rename the executable Chrome.exe to Chrome1.exe and update your shortcuts with the next file.
