Microsoft Rewards streak reset/missing, unable to earn last stamp

Dear Microsoft Rewards Support,

I am experiencing an issue with my daily streak.

I had already reached 11 stamps and was close to earning the 1000 points bonus. However, the streak icon suddenly disappeared, and I was unable to complete the daily set. My streak was then reset to 0 without any reason.

I have tried logging in on different devices and browsers (including Edge and Chrome), but the issue still persists.

This seems to be a system error, and I would really appreciate your help in restoring my streak and progress.

Thank you for your support.

    Hello,

Microsoft Q&A is not a support channel for Microsoft Rewards.

I understand your frustration regarding the sudden reset of your streak, but this forum cannot check account details or make changes to your Rewards progress.

The Microsoft Rewards streak system is fully automated.

If you would like to share your feedback about this issue, you can send your comments through the Microsoft Rewards support page.

I don’t think streak progress can be restored, but any feedback you submit will be reviewed by the Rewards team.

The streak reset is typically caused by one of the following, even if it looks like a system error:

    1. A daily set was not completed on time.
    2. A VPN or a device with a different time zone was used. Streaks are based on the device’s time zone, and a mismatched time setting can cause the system not to recognize completion.
    3. Being signed in with a different Microsoft account when completing the daily set. The correct account’s daily set should show a green checkmark when done.

If streak protection is enabled, it can prevent a reset when a day is missed, but only while protection days remain:

    1. Streak protection starts with 14 protection days per calendar year.
    2. When active, if a daily task is missed, one protection day is consumed and the streak is preserved.
    3. Once all 14 protection days are used, there is no way to add more until they reset at the start of the next calendar year.

    To help avoid future resets:

    1. Verify the correct Microsoft account is signed in on all devices before completing the daily set.
    2. Ensure the device time zone and clock are correct and avoid using VPNs or devices set to a different region/time zone.
    3. Turn on Streak protection on the Rewards dashboard (desktop: toggle next to Streak protection; mobile: toggle near Daily set) and keep it enabled while protection days remain.
    4. With Streak protection enabled, select the “Streak Protection” title in the information bar on the Rewards dashboard to see remaining protection days.

For restoring an already reset streak or investigating a possible system error, contact Microsoft Rewards Support so the account can be reviewed in detail. Use the Rewards Support channel referenced in the FAQs when self-service steps do not resolve the issue.
