To stop spam from a specific sender in Outlook or classic Outlook for Windows, block the sender so their messages go straight to Junk Email.
Steps in classic Outlook for Windows:
- In the message list, right-click an email from the person who is spamming.
- Select Junk > Block Sender.
- Future messages from that email address will be moved automatically to the Junk Email folder (or End-User Quarantine if enabled by an administrator).
If later unblocking is needed, use the Junk Email Filters options to change which messages are treated as junk.
If many spam messages arrive in languages that are not understood, block those encodings:
- On the Home tab, in the Delete group, select the arrow next to Junk (or Block in some Outlook builds), then choose Junk E-mail Options.
- Go to the International tab and select Blocked Encodings List.
- Select specific encodings or Select All, then select OK.
