Try this command in admin Windows PowerShell to re-register Microsoft Store package:

    Get-AppXPackage WindowsStore -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

To be able to assist you better, please clarify the following:

Do you have a third-party antivirus installed? If yes, which one?

Do you have any VPN software installed? (Even if it's not running at the moment) If yes, which one?

Also. What is the current "OS Build" of your Windows 11?

    • Press "Windows + R", type winver, and click OK.

If you prefer, share a screenshot. Use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

Be sure to censor your email address if it appears. The Microsoft Q&A is public.

    Looking forward to your reply.

Use the following steps on Windows 11 to fix Microsoft Store not opening after the upgrade:

    1. Reset the Microsoft Store cache
      1. Press Windows logo key + R to open Run.
      2. Type wsreset.exe and select OK.
      3. A blank Command Prompt window opens; after about 10 seconds it closes and Microsoft Store should open automatically.
    2. Make sure Windows is fully updated
      1. Open SettingsWindows Update.
      2. Select Check for updates and install all available updates.
    3. Check time, date, and region settings
      1. Open SettingsTime & language.
      2. Verify Date & time and Region are correct.
    4. If Microsoft Store is missing from Start or taskbar
      1. Select Start and type Microsoft Store.
      2. If it appears in results, select it.
      3. Right-click it and choose Pin to Start so it’s easier to find later.
      4. If it does not appear in search:
        • Ensure sign-in is with a Microsoft account, not a local account.
        • If this is a work/school device, contact the administrator because Microsoft Store might be turned off by policy.

If Microsoft Store still does not open after these steps, follow the guidance under “Microsoft Store doesn't open” and “Can't find Microsoft Store app” in the referenced articles.
