I cannot see Q&A listed in the tasks in the recent update (20th April) of the study guide

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/certifications/resources/study-guides/pl-300

It used to be listed so that means that it has been removed. In fact I think it was already removed last year.

Yes. When a feature or capability is announced as being retired on a future date, it remains part of the product and associated learning content and exams until that retirement date.

For Microsoft certifications and exams, the general pattern is:

    • Exams and their measured skills are periodically reviewed and updated to stay relevant.
    • When an exam or specific content is scheduled for retirement, it continues to be available and testable up to the published retirement date.

Therefore, if Q&A is scheduled to be retired in December 2026, it is expected to remain in scope for PL-300 until either:

    • The exam is updated to remove it before that date, or
    • The exam itself is retired or replaced.

Candidates should always refer to the current “Skills measured”/exam outline on the official exam page shortly before taking the exam, as that document is the authoritative list of what can be tested at any given time.
