Windows 11 currently shows the full system tray (notification area with icons) only on the primary monitor’s taskbar. On secondary monitors, the taskbar can appear, but the system tray area is not duplicated. This behavior cannot be changed through settings.
The calendar behavior is also by design: when using Extend these displays and a primary monitor is set, the taskbar calendar pop-up opens only on the primary monitor. On extended desktops, clicking the date/time on the secondary monitor’s taskbar does not open the calendar.
To confirm or adjust display behavior:
- Open Settings > System > Display.
- Under Multiple displays, choose:
- Extend these displays: Calendar opens only on the primary monitor.
- Duplicate these displays: Calendar can open on any monitor.
There is no supported way in Windows 11 to have the full system tray (icons and calendar pop-up) appear independently on all taskbars when using extended displays.
