I want to move files from my old computer(Windows 8) to the cloud, but I don't have One Drive, and it's not available anymore. What can I do? I opened up an upload center, but I don't understand how to get files in it from my old computer, since I don't have One Drive.

I am very confused. When I am in my old computer, I get different files in the cloud than I get in my newer computer. I am in the same cloud? I am in the same account. That don't make sense to me.

You probably are not in the same account, if you see different files. The list of recent files may be different on different devices, though.

Are you signing in to both PCs using one and the same Microsoft account? Even if you are, individual apps, such as OneDrive, may use other Microsoft accounts. Check in each app.

Also, if you sign in to OneDrive in your browser, note that saved credentials may "force" another account than the one you think that you are using. You can use an in private browser window (press Ctrl+Shift+N in your browser) to ensure that you have to choose an account and enter the credentials.

Microsoft's cloud storage is OneDrive. You can access it via a free account (such as @outlook.com) if you sign in at https://onedrive.live.com.

Are you perhaps trying to use some other online storage?
