Hi,

Using my account ([******@outlook.es]), I’m unable to schedule or pay for an exam. I’m trying to register for the PL-900 exam, but I keep getting the following error message:

“Unexpected error. We encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later. If this issue continues, please contact site support.”

I already tried different browsers and clearing cache/cookies, but the issue still persists.

Could you please help me resolve this issue?

ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK is typically because your account has been blocked by Pearson Vue which normally happens because of multiple failed payments. You need to contact Pearson Vue support using the link on https://aka.ms/CertificationSupport to get the block lifted.

The error shown in the screenshot corresponds to ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK in the URL. This typically means the Pearson VUE account used for Microsoft certification exams has been blocked, most often due to multiple failed payment attempts.

Browser changes or clearing cache will not resolve this, because the block is on the exam provider side.

To fix the issue and be able to schedule or pay for PL‑900 again:

  1. Go to Microsoft Certification Support at https://aka.ms/CertificationSupport.
  2. Use the Pearson VUE support/contact option referenced there.
  3. Inform them that exam scheduling shows an unexpected error and that the URL contains ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK.
  4. Work with Pearson VUE support to remove the block from the account.

Once Pearson VUE lifts the block, retry scheduling and payment for the exam; the process should complete normally.
