Edge Downloads Pin button is missing

The "pin" button is missing from the download history list. Where is it, how do I get it back.

    Latest Edge update just BROKE THIS AGAIN !!!!!!!!

    Version 148.0.3967.54 and download "pin to side bar" has GONE AGAIN

    This pic shows what should be there. What's strange is that even after resetting Edge settings, repairing Edge, clearing cache, I couldn't get this pin icon to reappear. I've got another PC with the exact same Win and Edge versions where this pin appeared (this pic). Exact same Edge version per the About page. But guess what: After closing Edge and opening it on the working PC, an "Update complete!" message appeared. Now the working PC is broken and no longer shows the pin! We need to reverse this last update somehow to get our pin back. What I don't get is why the About version didn't change after this "Update."

    xiang Hi, I’ve also been troubled by this issue for several months. I finally managed to resolve it by modifying the Edge policy ExperimentationAndConfigurationServiceControl = 0. Here is the documentation for this policy:https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/microsoft-edge-browser-policies/experimentationandconfigurationservicecontrol After making the change, you can open edge://policy to verify whether it has taken effect. If it hasn’t, it may be because Edge hasn’t been fully closed yet. Please save the following content as a .reg file and then run it:

    `Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge]
"ExperimentationAndConfigurationServiceControl"=dword:00000000`

    I also managed to speak to second-line support about this, and they have confirmed that the developers have acknowledged the issue and are expecting the fix to be rolled out by the end of the month!

    THANK GOODNESS - it looks like mine got fixed! I had to click the pin button again, but at least it is back after 4 very annoying days of download bubbles!
