Hello, i've been having some issues in my games that show random artifacts but only on dx11 games, for example when i had it in Rise of tomb raider they had an option to switch to dx12, after that my game didn't have that issue, but some games don't have this option so i cant even play it normally, i didnt have this option when i first got my pc, my pc spexs are 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-13500H (16 CPUs), ~2.6GHz with 16gb or ddr4 ram(one stick), and Intel(R) UHD Graphics, at first Valorant just showed it with no crashes after a bit it just cant even get to a game they just tell me to update my graphics driver but i already have it on the latest update, so i don't know what to do here.

If your laptop is experiencing artifacts on the screen without freezing, it could be a hardware failure. However, we will reinstall the drivers and update the BIOS, which is recommended.
Remember that updating the BIOS is recommended, but it presents risks. If you interrupt the process, your laptop may not boot. Therefore, if you don't have experience with hardware and software, I recommend skipping this step, although it is highly recommended.
To update the BIOS, you first need to disable BitLocker. To do this, open the command prompt (as administrator) and run the command:
manage-bde -off C:, wait for the decryption process, and restart your computer.After that, you can download the BIOS from the link below:

After updating the BIOS, I recommend using DDU.

Note: DDU is a third-party application to completely uninstall and reinstall the GPU driver.
- After downloading, extract DDU to a folder.
- Run the driver screen uninstaller.exe application, select the Model tab and enter GPU. After uninstalling the GPU driver, uninstall it for All GPUs.
- Click the first option, Clean and Restart, and wait for the process to complete.

2026-05-21T12:32:47.9233333+00:00 I did all of the above but i still have the same problem, i was wondering if i add another stick of ram will that help fix the problem, but when i played valorant they tell me to update my graphics driver and then freeze the whole pc, i have to force shut down with the power button, if there's any other fix please let me know.
