To remove that pop-up, please try the following steps:

Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.

    Click the 'Details' tab.

Scroll down and look for the PC App Store icon(represented by an orange shopping bag; the process name may differ).

Right-click on it and select 'Open File Location.'

Return to Task Manager, right-click the PC App Store process again, and select 'End Task.'

Go back to the folder you opened earlier and delete all files.

    Restart your computer and check.

To fully remove an app like “pc app store” in Windows 10, use all three standard uninstall paths and then check for leftovers:

    1. Uninstall from Start
      1. Select Start and look for the app (for example, “pc app store”) in the list.
      2. Right‑click it and select Uninstall.
    2. Uninstall from Settings
      1. Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features.
      2. Scroll or use search to find the app.
      3. Select it and choose Uninstall.
    3. Uninstall from Control Panel (for classic programs)
      1. In the search box on the taskbar, type Control Panel and open it.
      2. Go to Programs > Programs and Features.
      3. Find the program entry for the app store, right‑click it, and select Uninstall or Uninstall/Change, then follow the prompts.

If the app still appears or behaves incorrectly after these steps, try the Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter mentioned in the documentation, which can fix problems where a program is partially installed or removed.

If the “pc app store” is actually a mobile app installed via Amazon Appstore/Windows Subsystem for Android:

    1. Remove just that mobile app
      1. Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features.
      2. Find the specific mobile app and select More > Uninstall.
    2. Remove the entire Amazon Appstore and all mobile apps
      1. Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features.
      2. Find Windows Subsystem for Android™.
      3. Select More > Uninstall. This removes the Subsystem, Amazon Appstore, and all mobile apps.

If items are still “bringing up things” after uninstall (for example, shortcuts or entries that do nothing), they are usually just leftover shortcuts that can be deleted manually from the desktop, Start menu, or taskbar.
