Hi geoff dalton,
Harmony remotes can be a bit tricky to get connected, especially on Windows 11. Since your message is quite broad, I’ll walk you through the most common fixes first. They apply depend on the connections you’re using:
1 - If you are connecting using USB
- Use the original USB cable that came with the remote
- Plug directly into the PC (not a USB hub) and try another port
- Reconnect cleanly:
- Unplug from both ends
- Plug directly into the remote first, then the PC
- Restart both devices (hold Power/Off the remote for 15 seconds).
- Reinstall the USB driver:
- Press Win + X > Device Manager > Expand Human Interface Devices
- Look for USB Input Device (or your remote driver) > Right-click
- Select Uninstall > Unplug the remote and plug it back in.
2 - If you are using Bluetooth
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > turn ON Bluetooth
- Put the remote in pairing mode > choose Add device
It is recommended to use the official Harmony software to configure/sync the remote. You can download from the official support page: Logitech Harmony Software download. However, note that Logitech has reduced support for some legacy software/features, which can cause issues on newer systems.

If the issue still persists, let me know whether you’re connecting the remote by USB cable or Bluetooth. Does Windows detect anything at all, or nothing? It'd also be helpful to share your Harmony model!
