Once a startup verification is denied, additional startup credits from that specific offer can’t be unlocked or extended. The $1,000 initial credit can continue to be used only until it expires; after that, the subscription runs as pay-as-you-go and charges the attached payment method for usage.
There’s no option in the startup credit offer flow to submit a second verification or a new application for more credits on the same startup once verification has failed.
For more Azure credits, the available path in the current programs is:
- If the startup later becomes affiliated with an investor, accelerator, incubator, or university that is part of the Microsoft for Startups Investor Network, request their referral code and apply to the Microsoft for Startups investor offer. That program has its own application and credit allocation process.
If there are questions about the specific verification decision or subscription, create a billing/subscription support request from the Azure portal under Help + support so Azure Support can review the account details.
