My Xbox razer mic doesn’t work on Fortnite but works on everything else

Pretty straight forward. My Xbox mic works on every game except Fortnite. I have literally tried everything. Here is a list of everything I can remember I have tried:

checked all settings, hard reset my console, unplugged my console and let it hard cycle, uninstalled Fortnite and redownloaded it, deleted my gamertag and reloaded it, tried on 2 other accounts, tried on another Xbox, tried on another account on another Xbox in my house, tried a different mic.

I am STUMPED. Anyone have a solution. The only thing I could think is my 5 year old son was linked to my account, and I had at one point parental controls on his stuff, but mine seem to not be connected.
