I created and sent invites to an organizer and to a guest presenter. Neither of them have accepted the invite. How can I resend the invite to them without creating any issues? Later, I will send to other invitees.

To resend the Teams meeting invite without creating a new meeting, use one of these options:

  1. Resend from the existing calendar event (recommended)
    1. In Teams, select Calendar.
    2. Select the existing meeting and choose More options > Edit (or View event then Edit).
    3. In Invite required attendees (and optional if used), make sure the organizer and guest presenter are listed as attendees.
    4. Without changing anything else, select Send (or Send update).
      • This resends the invitation to all listed attendees, including those who have not yet accepted.
  2. Forward the meeting to specific people (if you only want to resend to one or two people)
    1. In Teams, select Calendar.
    2. Select the meeting, then View event.
    3. Select Forward > Forward this event.
    4. In the To field, enter the organizer or guest presenter’s email address.
    5. Optionally add a note, then select Send.
    6. They will receive a fresh meeting request that still belongs to the same meeting.
Note: If the original organizer disabled Allow forwarding in Response options, forwarding will not be available.

Both methods keep the same meeting and link, so there are no duplicate meetings or conflicts when later adding and inviting additional attendees.
